An8Back Preview Tutorial

The goal of CRE8OR is to use a simple interface (like Game Maker) to enable users to make games with anim8or, and allowing flexibility with coding. It uses the KJX Engine to run the game scripts and An8Take to extract anim8or files. Cre8or basically absorbs an8 files and turns the models/figures into entities that then behave. Therefore to edit the layout of any of the samples or to make you're own games you'll need Anim8or. That's free too! You can still run the samples without anim8or if you wish to get an idea of it.

To have Cre8or run on Windows XP, you'll most likely need the Microsoft .Net Frame Work 2.0 - 22.8MB. But once you download it and you install it you won't need it for any future versions. You'll have to restart your computer once it's install, else it won't start. You can download the editor here: Cre8or v0.10a - 6 MB

Cre8or features a new module called An8Back that writes scene files from game renders allowing you to export physics renders back to anim8or scenes. Although it is a bit primitive now, it will improve in the future releases.
